Being quarantined for three months was a strange thing for all of us to live through. I won’t lie, after a super busy 2019, the forced slow down was welcome. I had time to tackle a to-do list that was two years long, while also squeezing in time for naps.  My friends and family that have kids had an entirely different experience. Working from home while home schooling on top of the regular daily routines was beyond exhausting (or at least that’s what I heard). Amy shared her photos and summed it up perfectly :

“Being stuck in a house for 3 months and finally being able to take family pictures was an adventure, but this is what we came up with. Not a day goes by that I don’t realize how blessed we are”.

So happy I got the call from Amy to set up this session when outdoor photography had been given the green light to start going again. This was one of the first sessions in months and couldn’t have asked for better people to be in front of my camera. We got up early in the AM to get downtown West Dundee to ourselves. Here’s some of my favorites from their session.

I really love when parents take a few minutes to get some photos of just the two of them. It’s such an easy thing to overlook, but something so important to have. Remember, it all started with just the two of you!
