May was not the best month weather-wise for weddings but all my couples who were married managed to have perfect days anyway. Amy & Mando were no exception. These two have been together for quite some time so a little rain wasn’t going to put a damper on their special day. They were married at the end of May this year in a beautiful ceremony at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park. Here are some of the highlights of their day.
The girls got ready at Amy’s aunt’s Salon La Rouge in Chicago.
When they were done getting all glammed up, they headed over to Amy’s Grandmother’s house to get dressed.
Amy’s Grandmother and Grandfather helped with the finishing touches.
Meanwhile, Mando and the guys were getting ready at the hotel.
They headed downstairs for Cocktail hour right after the ceremony. Their officiant gifted them with a homemade album of pictures throughout their relationship.
Instead of a guest book, Mando and Amy had a wishing tree. Guests wrote well wishes to the couple and hung it on the tree. Such a unique idea!
Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs.!!!
After the father/daughter dance, Amy had a dance with her mom. It was so sweet!
Then it was time to dance!!
Huge thank you to BJ of BJ Aguado Photography for coming through in the last minute and being an awesome second shooter.
Thank you so much Amy & Mando for having us there on your wedding day! I loved every minute hanging out with you guys and your amazing family and friends. Wishing you both nothing but the best! Congrats again!!! 🙂
