Throwing it back a bit this Sunday to wish Megan & Kevin a Happy 7th anniversary! These guys were one of the first weddings of ever shot and it makes me so happy they still come see for photos. So excited to add some more photos to the collection at the end of August!!

A wedding is a wedding no matter how big or small. I’m excited to get back to big celebrations, but I’m really going to miss these smaller, intimate weddings. They weren’t the original plan for most (like Brittney & Ryan here who were supposed to be married in Italy!!), but were still as full of love.

Been a minute since I’ve posted here (3 months and some change to be exact). Not from lack of content, but more from figuring out how to transition both personally and professionally from the new normal back to the old normal. Whatever normal we’re in, the work life balance seems to be always elusive.

The good news about slowing getting back to pre-pandemic life is the return of events both large and small. Got to pop in on this small cocktail event at @wildwoodstudiochicago last week and had to share some of these photos. For any of my couples planning their wedding shower (or past couples planning a baby shower), this space is absolutely perfect! Check out my stories for a closer look.

Just settling in for my first Galentine’s day celebration (zoom of course). My high school friends and I always do a Christmas brunch with a secret Santa exchange. We were obviously forced to involve zoom and Amazon last year, but we had so much fun we’re doing again tonight! So excited to see all their faces and to see what I got! COVID messed up a lot of things last year, including the shut down of many popular photo locations. Grant Park is always busy with a festivals, especially over the summer so the silver linings to shut downs was this was actually available for photos! Heading back there today with a lot more layers. Always love finding a new view of the skyline...
