Jessica and Rob had the most perfect classic Chicago wedding. From the beautiful church to one of most iconic Chicago steakhouses, they celebrated properly surrounded by friends and family.
While Chicago seemed to be the main theme of this wedding, there were also Sandlot references sprinkled through the day. Jessica & Rob both LOVE the movie and have dressed up like Squints & Wendy Peffercorn for Halloween. It only made sense that it would be part of their day.
I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this day was, so I’m just going to let the pictures to the talking. We started the day at Jessica & Rob’s condo where Jessica got ready. Her details were simply elegant.
I love the card that Rob gave her! Her wedding gift was a pair of diamond studs that she immediately put on.
After Jessica was ready, we popped over to the guys to get Rob ready for the day.
For Rob’s gift, Jessica put together a scrapbook of their relationship in a leatherbound journal. Jessica, just incase you haven’t seen the video the groomsmen took, he said repeatedly that you completely outdid him in the gift department.
What would a classic Chicago wedding be without Chicago landmarks?! We braved the Blues Fest crowds and made our first stop at ‘The Bean”.
Then we headed over to Olive park for some skyline.
Their first dance was to This Magic Moment by The Drifters. Why? Well it’s what played after Squints kissed Wendy Peffercorn!
