How long is the session? When's the best time to start?
I say up to ninety minutes, but realistically (especially with the little ones), it never lasts that long. A longer session gives us all time for kids to warm up to the camera and also take breaks if needed. Because I love using natural light, I prefer to take sessions closer to sunrise and sunset. I’m more than happy to work around nap times and feeding schedules (especially for in-home sessions), scheduling your session outside of those times could lead to different final product than you see on the website.

How do you describe your style?
A mix of traditional and candid. I will 100% get that photo of everyone smiling at the camera so the grandparents can frame it on the mantle. However, the majority of the session is capturing your family as you are in this very moment, chaos and all.

Where should we go for our session?
For all my sessions I always suggest picking a spot that’s meaningful to you. Whether that’s your home, the local park you play at daily or the ice cream shop you guys go to. It can be anywhere!

Our whole family is in town? Do you do extended family sessions?
Yep! Extended families are so fun and it’s so great to have so many different combinations in one spot to photograph! The pricing is a little bit different for these sessions because there are more people. Please inquire for more information.

I know you photograph a ton of weddings, When do you take family sessions?
Family and Portraits sessions are taken during weeknights. I don’t have a wedding EVERY Saturday, so a weekend may be an option, but those go quick. It’s best to shoot me an email and we’ll see where our schedules line up.

I keep things simple with an all-inclusive collection
- ninety minute photo session at a location of your choice we may not need the whole time, but it gives us plenty of time for snack breaks, and possible location and outfit changes
- online gallery all edited images will be hosted online for you, your family and friends to view and purchase prints.
- high resolution digital files w / print release you can share on social media and print at the lab of your choice. (files delivered electronically through online gallery)
